Tips and Precautions
- Feed colostrum to the calf as soon as possible after parturition.
- Provide drinking water after 7 days of birth.
- Deworm the calf at 15 days then 1.5 months, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12th months of age.
- Ensure the availability of fresh and clean water to the animal for 24 hours.
- Vaccinate the calf at 4 months of age for Brucellosis, H.S, B.Q. and FMD.

सुझाव एवं सावधानियाँ
- बछड़ा को जन्म के 1-2 घंटे के अन्दर कोलोस्ट्रम पिलाये ।
- बच्चे को जन्म के 7 दिनों बाद से पानी पिलाना चाहिये ।
- पशु के लिये 24 घंटे स्वच्छ एवं ताजा पानी की व्यवस्था करे ।
- बाछा/ बाछी को 15 दिन के उम्र मे प्रथम बार फिर 1.5 माह, 3 माह, 6 माह 9 माह एवं 12 माह कि उम्र मे कृमी की दवा दें ।
- बाछा/ बाछी को खुरपका- मुंहपका (एफ.एम.डी), गलघोंटू / कंठा लंगड़िया (बी.क्यू.) एंव ब्रुसेलोसीस का टीका ४ माह की उम्र में प्रथम बार लगवाये ।
